Happy Easter!

We had a very nice Easter this year. This was Luke's second Easter and this time he definitely got to participate in it. We visited my parents (as usual), had an Easter egg-crack competition and a little egg hunt at my parents neighbors. I didn't expect Luke to really know what was going on, but as soon as he realized the eggs were laid around he was on the go. We managed to fill up our little basket despite all the older children that were a lot faster than Luke. One year olds better watch out next year, I think Luke is going to beat them in the egg hunt competition!

Luke's First Girlfriend

Last Friday we were pleasantly surprised at the park when we ran into Luke's old friend. The little girl in the pictures below is the same little lady Luke had his eye on when we went to the pumpkin patch last October After many months the two reunited and I must say, they were both very happy two see each other. We really didn't know much about little Sophia...but now we know that she's little Brazilian girl with some very cute blue eyes. Her mom and her older sister are very sweet ladies, too.
P.S. I must mention this. Luke almost had his first kiss in the tunnel with her. I think too many of us were watching...

Back in October when he first spotted her...

He got his hand on her right away...

In the tunnel, playing together...

Follow me Sophia, I think I know where I'm going.

Oh, I hope she hasn't left me?!

Driving my car...

Care to join me for a ride?

Wait a minute! What was that?! Oh, it's Sophia. (This is the first time they met) She really likes Luke.

"Hey there, I think I recognize those pretty blue eyes"

" Where are we going... Just lead the way, I'm right behind you!"

Little Superman

Check out this little guy in action! Luke's new pjs not only make him look cool, but also give him the ability to go places where he shouldn't go. Last night I was out, and the boys were alone. Steven took few pictures of the little guy after his bath. He said he really got some powers after putting this magic suit on. He was all over the place, getting into all kinds of things and taking a while to go to sleep. I guess all that excitement was just little too much for the "night-night- time"

Funny Pictures

Last night while watching American Idol, Luke, Steven and I were having so much fun. Luke was all over the place. At one point he started playing with this bowl. He was putting it on my head, than his, and so on... Steven was able to capture this moment when he put it on his head. We thought it was hilarious and we are glad we can share it with you.

The rest of the pictures were taken few days ago. Luke is trying to learn how to get on his Retro Rocket.

Recent Photos

Not much has been happening at the Scarborough residence. We've been enjoying the beautiful weather for the last few days. Luke enjoys going out for wagon or stroller rides or just going places. Yesterday we had my parents over for a visit. Luke was so excited that he skipped his second nap. About 7:30 pm he crashed.

Here are some random pictures we took over the last couple of weeks.

Just the boys hanging out while mommy was at the spa...

All refreshed after a day at the spa...

Little Frenchman (at least Steven thinks so...) on the go

Hanging out with Dida...

Baka is here too! Little playtime before dinner...

The Scarborough Snowman

We built our first snowman yesterday. The snow was perfect-very sticky and easy to mold into things. Luke watched his daddy build his first snowman. We ended up using some of Luke's toys for his nose and eyes. It turned out to be a pretty cool snowman.

Check him out.

Today, the snow is slowly melting away. The roads are already clear. We are expecting a very nice weekend. You can only see this in Big Texas!

It Sure Does Snow in Texas!

Today is unbelievable! Even after being in Texas for ten years, I haven't seen anything like this. Since late this morning (11:30ish), we've started getting some snow here. It started as icy rain and it quickly turned into some major snow. The snow flakes vary from a quarter in size to a very little ones. It hasn't stopped yet, and I'm not sure what tomorrow will look like.

With all this said, I had to take Luke out to experience his first snow. I think I was more excited about it than he was. He just stood there and wasn't really sure what to do. He sat in it once, but I think he quickly realized it was too cold. When he got up and tried to walk towards me, his feet got berried into the snow. So, he stood there till I got him.

All in all, it was an experience. We may try to get out there tomorrow again and attempt to make a little snowman. Who knows, Luke may just like it!

I Love My New Chair!

For his first b-day, Luke got a very nice chair from Mrs. Lily. At first he wasn't so sure about it, but now he seems to have a lot more fun with it. I filmed him this morning while he was watching his Baby Einstein video. I am thrilled to see him have fun with it, but I must say with all of this comes a lot of worries. I have to watch him since he seems to know of no fear at all. He keeps bumping into things and few things have fallen onto him. We've already earned a first major face scratch and finally it seems to be going away. Check out the video.
