I'm a Big Boy Now!

Last time I mentioned that Luke was almost sitting up on his own. Well, he has fully mastered this skill by now. Just before we went on our trip, baby Luke has started sitting unassisted. Today, we also tried exploring with some new foods and as you can see in some of the pics, he's holding his food. Also, Luke is starting to drink from his sippy cup! (I know it's pink, and we are working on getting a new one)

New Orleans' Trip

On our way back from Gulf Shores, we stopped in New Orleans. It was nice to visit it again, especially with out baby Luke this time. New Orleans has changed a little bit, but there is still a lot of fun and a lot to see-especially for the six month old baby. Luke was intrigued with the people and all the actions on the street. The hot weather didn't stop us from enjoying the atmosphere.

Gulf Shores Vacation-Luke's First Beach Visit

This past week we took a trip to Gulf Shores. This was Luke's first beach trip and he had a blast. Between two sets of grandparents, an aunt and a great granddaddy, it couldn't get better. The ocean was little rough due to Hurricane Dean, but we were still able to enjoy a beautiful sunny weather and jump in the ocean. Here are some pics of Luke vacationing for the first time.

I Can Almost Sit!

I was able to take few pictures of Luke sitting in his crib today. He was sitting without any assistance for a while. I think in week or so, we are going to see a lot more of this.
Also, Luke loves our cats. He gets intrigued every time he sees them as if he's trying to figure out who they are. Today, Nooters wanted to play with him while he was in his jumper. After a while, she realized he's got to get little older before they can play.

Watch Me Jump!

Recently, Luke has discovered that he can push himself up with his feet and has started jumping up and down. Here is a little video to show off his new skill. I filmed this yesterday afternoon after we adjusted his jumper to the right height so he can jump all he wants.

Daddy's Home!

This is a clip of Luke after Steven came home last night. Luke gets very happy once he sees his daddy home. The two of them really have a great reunion each day after six. Yesterday, Luke was not able to finish his meal from all the excitement after daddy got home.

Luke Loves to Read

Luke has mastered a new skill. Now, when he eats if there is something he doesn't like, he just simply spits it out.Here is a little video to demonstrate the skill.

Luke-the Master of His Walker!

I had to add this video since Steven absolutely loves it. Even though Luke still can't walk in his walker, he loves sitting in it and playing with all the buttons and the Big Bird, and the Cookie Monster. He already knows how to push backwards, but the most accomplished thing that he has gotten down is the ability to hit all the buttons within few seconds and to do it over and over again!
