Little Curious Mind

My parents' backyard is such a great exploring ground for Luke. He loves to get out there and play in the grass or with the water fountain. Right now, my dad is building a shed, so there are all kinds of things, all over the place. Luke just loves it! They also have this bird house that has a cute little bee toy that Luke loves to mess with. I took few pictures the other day while we were sitting outside, enjoying this beautiful day in Texas.

New Friend

This is Luke's new friend, from the Little Gym, Jackson. Yesterday we met them up at the park for a little playdate. Luke really likes Jackson. He's about four months older. He's very dynamic and on "the go". Luke absolutely loves that. They hang out at the gym, do a lot of running around, jumping and discovering new things all the time. So Brandy and I decided to get them together and let them have some fun in a different setting. We had a really hard time leaving the park-lets just say the boys weren't ready to leave.

Happy 14th Month B-Day Luke!

Today's Luke's 14th month B-Day. Happy B-Day Luke! You've become such a big boy!

We love you!!!

~Mommy & Daddy

"So Much Fun"

There is something so fascinating about water to Luke...
So, yesterday after Steven finished mowing the yard, we let Luke come out and check out the sprinklers in action. Oh boy, how much fun was this! Luke kept going back and forth talking, touching the water and just having a blast. I took a video of him so you can check this little guy. I think summer is going to be a whole lot of fun for all of us!

Fort Worth Art Festival

This past weekend Ft. Worth held the famous Art Festival in downtown. The weather was beautiful after stormy week, so we decided to go check it out. This was Luke's first visit to downtown Ft. Worth on the Main St. The place was packed! After crawling through the crowed, we were able to escape onto the sidewalk in a little shade to take a brake. Luke was having fun despite a really hot weather (check our his red cheeks) and enormous amount of people, but the best part was coming back home in a cool comfy car...

"The Broom Man"

I'm not sure what the fascination is all about, but Luke seems to be intrigued every time I get the broom out of the closet. I can't sweep without him hovering over me and watching so intently. So, yesterday I decided I was going to let him have it.

It is unbelievable how much fun he had dragging it with him around the house. This video is just a short captioning of his fun.

I'm sure by the time he is really going to need to put the broom to use, Luke will be hard to find.

I LOVE POPCORN!

I know toddlers are not suppose to eat popcorn till they are about 2 or 3 yrs old, but there is no way we can keep popcorn away from Luke. This kid LOVES it! Yesterday after his second nap, while we were waiting on Steven to come back from work, we popped some popcorn. Luke was having a blast. I let him sit on the kitchen floor where he can have an easy access to the popcorn. He sat there for about 20 minutes eating and talking to me while I was making dinner. When Steven got home, he found him still sitting there. He didn't even bother to get up to greet his daddy. Did I mention he's got ten teeth now, so chewing the popcorn is not an issue at all.

Little Buddies

Here they are. The two little buddies who love to hang out together. Courtney and I were finally able to get these two little guys together again after a while. We took them to the Bear Creek Park last Friday, and they had a blast. They are starting to notice each other more, so at the park they played together and followed each other around the playground.

Ready?! Hang on tight Brayden, I'll help you.

Luke really likes to share. Here he's sharing his balls with Brayden. Also, I have to mention, Luke is into balls right now!

This is Luke's favorite part of the park and his favorite car. He is a true boy.
The boys deciding what to do.

Which way?

The swing time! Yeah!

Checking it out to see if it's worth getting onto it...

My Favorite Photos

I love these pictures of Luke because they truly show how much fun he has in his highchair. Meals have been pretty easy process in our house and since Luke's has started feeding himself they've gotten a lot easier (if you exclude all the mess on the floor afterwards).
We took these pictures a couple of weeks ago. He was having so much fun eating the lemon and getting the reaction out of us that he kept eating it and making funny faces.

Today, we have a little different story. Luke has started teething (really bad). Two molars are coming in and the poor kid is just not being himself. Last night he slept OK, but a nigh before it was a "Sleepless night in Scarboroughs house". We hope all this goes away pretty soon. Despite all the misery, he still tries to have a good time as much as he can.

Also, I have to write about this...His picture was put on the poster of the professional photographer who comes to the Little Gym to take pictures every semester. His last year picture came out so good that they used it for advertisement.
