Christmas in Houston

This year, we spent our Christmas in Houston with Steven's family. This was Luke's first trip to Houston. He did so well. He handled the road trip better than we expected. He loved being at Gran's and Papa's. They made this Christmas for all of us very special one. They surrounded us with many gifts and very warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
I've posted few pictures below, so you can see how adventurous the trip was for all of us.
Christmas morning. We are about open up our presents. Luke was in awe with the tree.
First Christmas with Daddy.

Luke hanging out with his Papa.

The hit of the Christmas! The red wagon. I think I was more excited about it than Luke, but once he got into it the fun couldn't end. We used the wagon for the rest of the time being there to entertain this little boy and he loved it!
My first Christmas and I got my two front teeth!

My Gran and Papa. :)

The family photo.

Even uncle Mark came to see me, but I was asleep. I was waiting and waiting to meet him, but I couldn't wait any longer.
Me and my Daddy at Papa's land. It was very cold that night.
Brr!

My auntie Paige right next to my cool ride.

Look at that fire behing us! That was something. We got pretty warm, pretty fast.

Auntie Pagie looking good for the picture.

This is Kaybee-my grandparents' cat. She's very sweet. I had a good time with her.

What a magificent view! A very nice golf course, I must say. Can't wait to play on it one day!

My Gran showing me how to use the Sport Center after assembling it. I really like it!

Oh, by the way, I was introduced to mandolin and I got to play a little bit. I must say, my Papa is a lot better player than I am.

Santa Didn't Forget Luke!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Luke was such a nice boy that Santa decided to give him a lot of presents this year. It was truly fun watching this little boy learn what Christmas is all about. The presents were not such a hit as much as spending time with both sets of grandparents and the rest of the family.

We are so grateful to have such loving and caring parents around us. They made this season so brights for us. Thank you, mom, dad, Anne, Reb and auntie Paige.

Since we were going to spend Christmas in Houston, we had Christmas with my parents the Saturday before. We were able to get out and have a nice dinner at La Hacienda (our favorite) all together. Luke had so much fun. Each time we go, he gets to experience little bit of Old West. This time he got to ride a horse saddle. He seemed to like it, but most of all he liked hanging out with dida and baka.

Happy 10th Month B-Day Luke!

Luke is 10 months old today. He's turned out to be a pretty curious, but very sweet boy. We enjoy every minute of his curiosity and unlimited desire to learn and explore.

Happy 10th Month B-Day Little Boy! Mommy and Daddy love you!

Merry Chirstmas to All from the Scarboroughs!

We can not believe Christmas is almost around the corner. What a year this has been. Steven's and my life has been enlighten with such a great blessing. Our baby Luke has brought so much joy and happiness that we couldn't ask for anything else this Christmas.

We wish a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all, and hope the 2008 makes all the dreams come true to all of you!

Love,
The Scarboroughs

Wow, the Christmas lights! I've never seen these before.

This is sooo cool! I just want to put them all in my mouth.

My mommy made me sit here. I like the tree but I really would like to go on and play. So, Merry Christmas! I got to go!

I guess I'll stay for one more picture, but I have to take these slippers off. Oh, I wonder what's in all these boxes? I would love to tear this paper.

Oh, what's this?!

What a Happy Face!

I know, I am not such a good mom when it comes to being disciplined about giving babies sweets, but it is Christmas season. Season to eat and be merry. Right? Well, I couldn't resist giving Luke a chocolate pretzel today on our way from some Christmas shopping. When I stopped at a traffic light and checked on Luke this is what I found. The light was still red, so I was able to snap few photos of this cutie!

What a jolly little face!

Mama's Little Helper

Our dishwasher seems to be a new discovery for Luke. At this point as soon as Luke hears me open it up, he crawls fast around the corner, and he wants to start unloading whatever is in it. Yesterday just as the load was done, Luke managed to crawl up to the dishwasher and start unloading onto the floor. We had to rewash everything all over again.
Luke seems to be a very curious little boy.

After the unloading was all done, he moved onto his truck.
