And The First Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, the first game was on today! What a game! We lost 5 (or 6, or 7) to 3 against the team that had a little older group, but still it was so much fun! Luke loved being out there and he even scored a goal on the wrong side of the field (better luck next time). All in all it was a lot of fun and we can't wait till the next game! We got a week off for the Spring break, and we're hoping to get a new uniform that is the right size. As you can tell, the one he had on is about three sizes too big.

First Soccer Practice

We are happy to announce that Luke has started playing soccer and today was his first practice day!!!!
After talking about for months and gearing him up, he went to his practice today without any issues. I've never seen him more excited! As soon as we arrived he took off towards his team as he has known them for ages. There are eight kids on his team, ages 3-5. It is co-ed and all of them are so cute! Luke practiced for 45 minutes today and was happy as a champ once it was all over. He's hard passed out right now. I guess all that practice made him really tired. Our first game is on March 13th. I had to pull the calendar out to show Luke how long before the real game and we had to count the days. After realizing how long, he settled down knowing he's got one more practice before the game. A lot more pictures will come as we go through the season. Stay tuned!

Third Birthday!

We're getting ready to start celebrating Luke's 3rd B-Day! I'm so excited! Little less than three years ago, I couldn't even comprehend anything about this day and time in Luke's or mine life.I couldn't even imagine today I'd be chasing him around, kicking the ball with him and pretending I'm the Zoom-Zoom while he's the Super Bunny! As Luke's getting ready to turn three, I'm getting ready to accept the fact he's about to start playing soccer, going to school, not wanting to hold me as much and would rather play with his friends. As much as this is going to be challenging for me, I'm happy to see this little guy grow up strong and healthy and happy!

Happy Birthday My Little Guy!!!

Where Did The Time Go, Again?!

Time goes by fast these days. A lot has been going on, and the blog has been little neglected, but not forgotten. Tonight I took a chance to revisit back with it, and I'm just so happy that I have this little virtual keepsake for me and my son for many years to come. I hope he'll appreciate it one day, probably it will happen when he becomes an adult and has a child of his own.

As I was clicking through the blogs of 2007 and 2008, I found my self so amazed how much I was able to capture about this little guy. He sure has grown a lot! Now, he's almost three and this blog is about to be the same age! Can't believe it!!!! WHERE DID THE TIME GO!!??????

The works of blog are the same, but Luke has changed. He's grown a lot, he's a little guy who loves to play sports (and hopes to play ice hockey as soon as he does just a little bit more growing), loves to read, loves his friends, even has a little girlfriend ;), loves to go to the movies, or any other places. He's so affectionate, loving and charismatic. He cares so much about his mama and daddy. He loves his cats, and really takes care of Noots! He's also such a good helper. Three years later, I'm still in awe about him! I'm still madly in love with him and I feel like he's growing up little too fast! I love being home with him watching him grow. The mornings are priceless with his readiness to embrace the day the moment he opens his eyes.
It's just pure blessing being a mother to this little man who brings to much love, contentment and peace to us!

Let the count down to the Big 3 begin!

Well Past Due

Wow, time does go by fast when you're having fun! I'm going to make a little update on what's going with us lately.

Luke's biggest improvement lately has been his vocabulary and his motor skills. Everyday he comes up with a new word. Just tonight as I was giving him a bath he asked me "Why" after I told him he can't drink the bath water; then he followed it up with asking me to give him a leas- son in how to roll a screw on a screw-crab toy. Just like this, he just says new words day in day out. We've been taking advantage of cooler days here, so we've been going to the parks and playing quiet a bit. He loves to climb, slide and swing. Sand box has complete new meaning-it's a treasure box! He's also turning into this very social butterfly. Loves to play with kids and is extremely adaptable-age and gender really doesn't matter. Luke just wants to have fun and play!

Steven and I are doing well. Recently, Steven came to a crossroad about his career and decided to take a new direction. We'll see how things play out. This time is going to be a good learning curve for all of us.

As for me, I'm starting to entertain the idea of starting up a little fun on-line project. I also may get a little seasonal part time job now that Luke's starting to be little more self sufficient.
We have a lot to look forward to as the holidays begin to roll in. We look forward to spending a lot of time with our families and friends. We are also very excited to about a new addition to our extended family. Luke is going to have a little cousin!
Today's Steven's B-day. Big 32!!!! We enjoyed sharing this day with him!!!
Here are few pictures of the latest happenings!!!!
