What's Luke Been Up To?!

We're only few weeks away from the BIG 2.0!
I can not believe it!
I'm having such mixed emotions about it. It's been fun watching this little guy grow and explore the world, but really, not that he's about to be two, I really have to come to the terms that he's not a baby anymore. :(
We're in full prep mode for another B-Day party. And while all this work is happening, here's what's Luke been up to lately-

Playing with his favorite buddy in the whole wide world-Amelia
Loves his new shades (it was a gift-that's why they have flowers on)

Has so much fun with his Dad

Never gets too much love from his mama & baka

Loves the trains

The Dallas Aquarium

January 1st of 2009 was filled with a lots of fun at the Dallas Aquarium. We were lucky to be able to go there along with my parents and share the experience with Luke. The adventure was a lots of fun for Luke. He enjoyed seeing all the tropical birds, the monkeys were a big hit and few other things. The biggest hit was all the stairs they had at the place. While everyone else was admiring the adventures world of the underworld, Luke was relentlessly climbing the stairs. We don't have any stairs in our house, so I will understand him this time.

Luke's First Haircut

We did it! We had Luke's first haircut this past Saturday. The hair was getting little too long-all in his eyes and the back was pretty long (the little curls were flattening out). So I made the dreadful decision to chop it off. We saved one little curl and kept the lenght pretty long still, but the cut is much more manageable.

Overall, Luke was pretty good and patient with the stylist. He sat in daddy's lap (didn't want to have to do anything with those cool airplane/car seats. He sat in a big boy chair and watched the lady cut the hair. I think we can continue doing this. Mommy can handle it!

We are back on!! YES! It only took us over six months to get our camera/PC configuration working, but hey, we're are back on. So there will be a lot more pictures to follow. In the mean time Luke keeps growing, running, talking, and doing all amazing little things a 22 month old can
do.

Here are few photos of our little man taking a bath tonight.
